Solution
We started with research and discussed all of the requirements of the project. Working with the customer we planned our architecture and designed a professional user interface. We found that the old platform was not customizable and challenging to support. A specific problem with the platform was its inability to quickly add and read data from large CSV files.
Finally, it was decided to build a new platform from scratch using faster and more scalable technology. We used .Net 5 for the backend and React.js for the frontend. We also used MS SQL for storing data and the search system, Elasticsearch.
Result
The result, an efficient and stable system that is easier to support and implement new functionality. We’ve already deployed reading excel and DBF file records. Now, we are able to easily manage new feature releases, perform updates, and fix bugs.
Everything is hosted on Azure making the process of building and development simpler.
