About the Project:
Our client is building a platform that transforms the job search and hiring experience by eliminating outdated practices like impersonal cover letters and lengthy application processes. The product allows both jobseekers and companies to present themselves authentically through dynamic profiles and engage in quick, meaningful conversations to create strong professional matches.
We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure high quality and stability of the product as it scales. The role involves both manual and automated testing of key platform functionality, with a special focus on testing user interactions and communication between different types of users (end-to-end testing).
What you’ll do:
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing of the web application
- Create and execute test cases based on requirements and real user flows
- Conduct end-to-end testing to validate interactions between multiple types of users (e.g. jobseekers ↔ employers)
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing (e.g. using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools)
- Collaborate closely with developers, product designers, and other stakeholders
- Report and track bugs using task management tools
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and testing strategy
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications
- Experience with automation testing at the UI and/or API level
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
- Experience with tools like Postman (for API testing), browser DevTools
- Experience in testing multi-user systems with complex interaction flows
- Experience writing and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists)
- Intermediate or higher level of English (for documentation and communication)
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Will be a plus:
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests into pipelines
- Experience with real-time interaction platforms
- Experience using tools like Mixpanel, Hotjar, or similar for analyzing user behavior
