We’re looking for a Power BI Developer to join our team and support our US-based customer, a company that provides innovative wellness and energy management solutions designed to enhance health, productivity, and comfort in work, educational, and home environments. 

Their mission is to improve long-term well-being through smart technology and AI-driven insights. Together with our team, they are advancing their analytics ecosystem to better understand product performance and user experience through data visualization and reporting. 

What you’ll do: 

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports using both Import and Direct Query modes 
• Build and maintain semantic models that support hybrid queries for efficient data access 
• Create custom visuals and controls (e.g., Deneb) to enhance user interactivity and insights 
• Manage Power BI pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and version control of reports 
• Work with embedded Power BI to integrate dashboards into customer-facing applications 
• Collaborate with data and AI engineers to ensure model accuracy and performance alignment 
• Maintain best practices for data security, governance, and scalability 

What we’re looking for: 

• 5+ years of professional experience developing in Power BI 
• Strong understanding of Import and Direct Query reports 
• Experience building and managing semantic models that support hybrid queries 
• Familiarity with Power BI custom visuals (especially Deneb) 
• Hands-on experience with Power BI pipelines and workspace management 
• Understanding of embedded Power BI architecture and implementation 
• Strong DAX and Power Query (M language) skills 
• Good understanding of data modeling and SQL-based querying 
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher — you’ll work directly with the client team 

Nice to have: 

• Experience integrating Power BI with Azure or other cloud-based platforms 
• Understanding of REST APIs and automation for Power BI services 
• Experience with ETL processes or data warehousing 
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps)
