E360 is a holistic building solution. It monitors both the energy efficiency and indoor air quality of commercial buildings and help customers save energy, greenhouse gas emissions and cost all while also dramatically improving the indoor air quality.
“The goal I pursued at CodeLaunch was to meet industry leaders and investors who can help take the product to the next level ” – comments Mat Bonassera, Chief Enterprise Architect at E360. “The vast majority of buildings are both incredibly inefficient as well as dangerous to their occupants, due to the dangerous levels of compounds in the air. We solve both these complex problems at the same time. This is unheard of in our industry. We do this by monitoring vast sums of IOT data and then using Machine Learning and real-time monitoring we adjust the building to optimize its performance. This is a revolutionary way to look at commercial buildings”.
“The desire to promote energy efficiency of the buildings and the sustainability in business influenced our decision of whom to work with during the Hackathon” – Oleksandr Semeniuk, CEO of Honeycomb Software. The company helped E360 scale during the two-day hackathon held on February 25-26. “Our team worked tirelessly to expand the functionality of E360, and this victory is a testament to their hard work and dedication.”
“We had two marathon coding sessions where we managed to complete two features, however, initially we planned for just one, in the timeframe we had. This is only because of how good and passionate people at Honeycomb Software are ” – mentioned Mat Bonassera, Chief Enterprise Architect at E360.
This is not the first time Honeycomb Software won as a development team during a startup competition. Last year, the company won a similar event for minorities in Houston, and Minority Code Launch at the First Annual 40 Acre Conference credits the team’s past experience and hard work for this year’s success.
The dev team also wanted to give back to the community and chose to donate the prize money to HTX4UKRAINE, an organization that has been helping Ukrainian defenders and refugees since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
“We are grateful for HTX4UKRAINE, for their support and we are honored to transfer the prize to them Oleg Lysiak, VP of Partnerships at Honeycomb Software said.
Both teams are grateful to CodeLaunch HOU2023 for the opportunity to showcase their efforts on the main Houston Tech Scene and promote sustainability in the local community.
